Install and Update
Always remember to download the latest version from your Codecanyon account. The Main Files includes these following files and folders:
- Documentation Folder - contains this document and other materials
- Installation Files Folder - contains installable plugin file
Step 1. Log into your WordPress Admin area.
Step 2. Look down the left hand column for “Plugins” and then click on the word “Add new”.
Step 3. In the "Add new" page, click “Upload”
Step 4. In the "Upload" page, click “Browse” to browse for the theme installation file in [path-to-your-downloaded-package]/Installation File/forest-admin.zip). Click "Install Now".
Step 5. After installed successfully, click "Activate" to make the plugin active
Update
You need to download new version on Codecanyon and Update manually
All posts and settings will be saved. This is data-safe method.
What is Quick Panel
- Quick panel is a awesome feature to make you and your clients manage site in awesome way
- You will see Quick Panel when move your mouse to right side
- Quick Panel has Quick icon buttons, link to most used page of wordpress
- You can use your own Widgets in this Panel
You can custom this code (in text widget) to build your own Quick icon buttons (Use Font Awesome Icons)

Plugin Options
Forest comes with a lot of options to help you totally customize the look & feel of your admin. Go to Forest Admin to configure.
There are settings for General Settings, Font Settings, Quick Panel settings, Login settings, Wordpress settings, Other Settings. It is quite straight-forward to learn the use of these sections

General settings
- Background: Upload your Admin Background image
- Darkness level: Use to make your background darker. Enter only number for darkness percent (Ex: 20 (for 20% darkness))
- Main color: Choose highlight color scheme (Leave blank to use wp default profile color)
Font Settings
- Menu font: Choose Font for left admin menu sidebar
- Content font: Choose font for all admin content
Quick Panel settings
- Enable Quick Panel: Choose to enable or not use Quick Panel
- Use Default Buttons: Choose to use Quick Panel default buttons or Use only your widgets
- Panel Text Color: Choose Panel's text color
- Panel Background Color: Choose background color & opacity (Default is FFFFFF | 80%)
Login Settings
- Login logo: Upload your login logo image
- Logo size: Enter your logo width and height
- Login Background: Upload your login background image, if not, it'll use admin background for login screen
Wordpress Settings
- Hide Elements: Choose to hide elements you want to hide
- Custom Footer Text: Enter your own admin footer text
Other Settings
- Turn off Font Awesome: Turn off loading plugin's Font Awesome. Check if your theme has already loaded this library
- Custom Admin CSS: Enter your custom admin CSS
