Upload Option

2 - Inside the Wordpress administration click on Plugins > Add New > Upload. Click on Choose File, select the file hopos_install.zip and then click on Install Now. After select Plugins > Installed Plugins, find the Hopos plugin installed and click on Activate. A new menu appears on the side called Hopos.

Create Hopos Slider - Step by Step

You can use any post-type and taxonomy to create a Hopos slider. The setup is super simple and there are already pre-configured values.

1 - After installing the plugin, on the side menu was created a panel menu called Hopos. Click on Hopos > Add New

2 - Set all options and save. Then is created an file that will be recorded with all settings. Anytime these settings can be changed.

3 - After saving, return to the home screen plugin. You'll notice that a new file was recorded. Note that there is a field with the shortcode. This shortcode you add to any page, post, widget (Text), or directly in the php code. Basically that's it!

Hopos Options Panel - for each individual post

This Hopos options panel is opened within each post. In it you can edit for example, if the post is open in the lightbox or page. You can set video, large images etc.

To enable this panel within any post-type, read the next section, Settings.

Settings

- Image Resize Script > vt_resize or timthumb (Just choose the script that makes the picture cropping).

- Hopos Script > Option to open in the Head, or Footer (Generally is more appropriate to open in the Footer to open the site faster).

- Enable Audio in the Hopos options > True / False (Enable this option with True, if you want to provide audio for each post, using Hopos Slider - Options).

- Enable Hopos Panel in Custom Post Types > You can enable Hopos Panel for any post-type existing in your site. Just check the post-type you want to use and save. The Hopos Panel appears in the edition of each post.

Custom Skin

This is the most powerful part of the plugin. Within the settings for each Hopos slider, there is an option called Skin. Selecting Custom, is provided an area to add any css. This makes the plugin, highly customizable.

In the demo page of the plugin - below, there are some customizations example. Simply copy and paste the css available in this area of your slider (Skin > Custom)

Faq

The plugin is not working?

Try one of the alternatives below. If nothing solve the problem, please contact me by email through my user profile on CodeCanyon.

  1. Within the Wordpress Admin, select the menu option of the plugin called Settings. In the option Image Resize Script switch to "timthumb". Save the changes and try again.
  2. There is a conflict with another plugin or with your theme. Try disabling all plugins (just disable, not delete). Then enable one by one and see which one is conflicting. Or use a different theme and see if the problem persists.
